Rules:

New for CC30 –
The challenge: the designers were presented with ten costume fashion icons, some from history and the present and some from fiction. Each designer in turn chose one icon and created a fashionable look, not a costume inspired by their icon. The choices were:
* Cleopatra
* Captain Jack Sparrow
* Elrond
* Londo Mollari
* Louis XIV
* Queen Amidala
* Queen Elizabeth I
* Prince Poppycock
* Princess Aura
* Scarlett O’Hara

Special Thanks to:

• SAS Fabrics in Tempe Arizona. They supplied 5 $50.00 gift certificates for the entrants to purchase fabrics. When we only had 4 entries, they graciously allowed us to split the fifth certificate among the contestants. CC 30 tossed in an additional $25.00 per entrant, so they ended up with a budget of $87.50 for supplies.
• Nola Yergen-Jennings for allowing us to use her workshop at Grand Canyon University. It was a great place for the contestants to work.
