Costume-Con 26 Doll Exhibit and Competition

Not your typical doll show…

There will be a doll exhibit at the CC26. We welcome purchased dolls, handmade dolls, high-concept art dolls, and even anthropomorphics (suitably dressed), wearing costumer-made garments.

These exhibits usually have awards, so this one will have them. But our minds boggled when we started thinking of all the possible categories for awards. Not to mention all the convention themes, parties, and the Future Fashion show, that live people, and dolls, might be costuming for. It made our heads swim. So we’re relying on our costumer audience to be the judges for our awards, and to invent the categories for them. We’ll deal with printing the award certificates.

There will be a reception/party for Asian ball-jointed dolls and their families, to which the public will be invited, but these dolls will not be on permanent display.
